SANY’s 5.0 MW onshore wind turbine gets DNV approval

DNV (formerly DNV GL) is an internationally-accredited registrar and classification society. It is also the largest technical consultancy and supervisory to the global renewable energy (particularly wind, wave, tidal and solar) and oil and gas industries, with 65% of the world's offshore pipelines being designed and installed to DNV's technical standards.

The 5.0 MW onshore wind turbine had been previously certified by China Quality Certification Center. Qualified both internationally and domestically, SANY RENEWABLE ENERGY is set to take the lead in the coming era of large megawatt energy and internationalization.

In addition, the 5.0 MW onshore wind turbine has passed several significant tests including fault ride through (FRT) at high and low voltages as well as that of grid adaptability, meaning that its structural rationality, operational security and grid adaptability all tested well.
