METALTECH 2021 goes virtual, live event rescheduled to June 2022

Informa Markets’ METALTECH & AUTOMEX announced today that the two global metalworking and automation trade events to be held on 13 – 16 October 2021 will go fully virtual. The physical event will now take place next year at MITEC Kuala Lumpur from 22 – 25 June 2022.

The four-day virtual event will be hosted in an enhanced platform with key features including the AI-powered matchmaking system between buyers and sellers, top-notch seminar sessions by the industry leaders, and a virtual exhibition for exhibitors and visitors to conduct business.

“Focusing on the virtual marketplace this year allows us to provide an opportunity for the industry players to gather in this challenging time. Last year’s debut of METALTECH & AUTOMEX virtual exhibition demonstrated that the initiatives of having a virtual exhibition and online meetings do indeed receive a positive response from the manufacturing community and successfully generated new business opportunities between the exhibitors and buyers.

Buyers will receive a comprehensive overview of the largest showcase of machine tools, metalworking, and automation technology - with two virtual exhibition sections covering over 50 product categories along with the induction of the country pavilion hosting various international brands. Customised exhibition booths and structures are available across the platform, and visitors can conveniently visit and browse the exhibitor’s offerings.

In addition, the virtual exhibition includes an interactive online business matching platform where buyers can engage in a meaningful real-time conversation and information sharing with all the exhibitors through a one-on-one session in a live chatroom.
