Finalization of the Creation of the Joint Venture Between Hutchinson and Mann+Hummel
  • The joint venture is dedicated to thermal management and cooling systems for vehicles, particularly EV and HEV.
  • Based in Laval, the joint venture is called TCSA (Thermal Control Systems Automotive) and is integrated in Hutchinson’s FMS (Fluid Management Systems) activity.
  • Hutchinson intends to reinforce its leading position in the fluid management market for the automotive sector, particularly for hybrid and electric vehicles.

Based in Laval (France) and employing around 60 people, TCSA is already operational and is going to continue to develop in the years to come. The company offers a complete range of active valves to manage the circulation of fluids inside a vehicle. These valves are adaptable to any type of platform. The technologies in question contribute significantly to the reduction of CO2 emissions.

Thierry du Granrut, Senior VP of Strategy and Business Transformation at Hutchinson, stated “I am delighted with the creation of this joint venture which will enable us to propose a more global system offer for fluid management with multiple materials and extended functions”.

“We are very enthusiastic about the idea of being able to work with Hutchinson’s experts to pool our knowledge and know-how and thus develop efficient solutions for the mobility of the future”, declared Sébastien L’Azou, Director of the TCSA site in Laval.
