Designed to serve high-demand packaging paper applications, this new installation strengthens paper durability, enhances dewatering efficiency, and supports higher machine speeds—all essential for competitive, high-volume production.

Advanced pressing technology for improved dewatering and stability
The PrimePress X system combines a high-capacity shoe press with an integrated VIB SteamTech steam box and optimized press section fabrics. This configuration enables superior dewatering performance, contributing to more than a 5% increase in dryness from the press section. Higher dryness levels directly reduce steam demand in the dryer section, helping the mill achieve measurable energy savings and supporting long-term sustainability goals.

Enhanced product quality and machine efficiency from day one
With the new shoe press, Paper Corea recorded up to 20% energy savings and over 30% improvement in the 2-sigma CD moisture profile. The machine produced high-quality paper immediately upon start-up, demonstrating the stability and reliability of the technology.
